Whatever kind of corporate event you can imagine – we can accommodate. We have a full in house A/V equipment package already on site, experienced event planning staff to help you if necessary and a preferred list of equipment rental providers (however if you have your own list that’s fine too). Plenty of parking on site, valet parking available and 18,000 square feet of versatile corporate event space – why go anywhere else? Dynamic lighting, state-of-the-art sound/audio options and wonderful catering options from our exclusive caterer, the Savor Society. Tired of the same old ballroom settings with no life and a big chandelier? We are too. Give us a shot – come see us today and wow your employees or corporate partners.
Private Parties
Want to throw a surprise 40th birthday party everybody will remember? Have it at The Crane Bay. We have the capability to host any kind of private party you would consider having. With 18,000 square feet, dynamic lighting effects, full in house A/V already on site – all you need to do is schedule a site visit, book your event and let our event planners work with you to create your own private party and an experience your guests will never forget. We have a preferred list of bands, DJ’s and entertainers but if you have ideas or contacts already built that’s fine too – our doors are open. You’ll work with The Savor Society to build the food and beverage package that best suits your party. We have parking available on site.
Want to throw your own private tailgate for an upcoming Colts game – but don’t want to deal with packing your car up with tailgate supplies, packing coolers, cooking the food, setting up tables/chairs and bags – much less standing outside in the subzero temperatures? Have us do it! We’re a 2 block walk from Lucas Oil Stadium. We can create a package for you to invite 100′s of your friends to an INDOOR tailgate party!
Concerts
The Crane Bay is the newest and hottest venue in town. Our production vendors to accommodate all of your sound and lighting needs and have a stage large enough to accommodate any band you could bring in. We will offer top of the line food and beverage selections for sale at all concerts – all reasonably priced as well. Fans of your stand up comedian, DJ, band or entertainer will love the environment they have at The Crane Bay. Looking for VIP accommodations? Or better yet the opportunity to up sell a VIP option to your guests? We can do that too. There is ample space stage right or left for risers so you (or we) can create to total VIP package. Bottle service, dedicated waitstaff, and upscale food menu, etc.
Trade Shows
We have the perfect layout for an optimum setting for your trade show. At 18,000 square feet The Crane Bay layout is basically 2 large rectangles which creates a “T.” Perfect opportunity to line tables/booths on the outer walls and allow guests to gradually peruse everything your show has to offer. Or if you have a large number of booths or clients interested in exhibiting – a row of booths/vendors can go down the middle of The Crane Bay lined up back to back to increase the number of exhibits available.
In house electrician. Virtually unlimited power supply. Non-union labor. State-of-the-art lighting designs and configurations. WIFI available. On site parking and coat check stations are available – The Crane Bay is the perfect place to host your upcoming trade show, job fair or convention.
All of our cranes are still fully operational so if there is a need or desire to lift a display or item which weighs up to 70 tons (yes 70 tons) we can do that too.
Sporting Events
Interested in getting your buddies together to watch the fights? The Crane Bay can accommodate. Get your friends together for a day/night event and huddle around any one of our bars, along with 50 flat screen plasma TV’s – and an audio system that will rival any concert you’ve been to. We can put together a catering package that’s as simple as burgers and beer – or lobster and Dom Perignon.
Or better yet – here at the Crane Bay we have 18,000 square feet of space – with huge ceilings. Organize your own indoor weekly basketball league complete with a catering package, huge PA system for all your listening enjoyment and plenty of on site parking.

Charity Events
Our owner, Gary Padjen (a former Dallas Cowboy & Baltimore/Indianapolis Colt), is the Vice President of the Indianapolis NFL Alumni Association. The Indianapolis chapter of the NFL Alumni association does a huge amount of work with several local charities including but not limited to: Riley Hospital for Children, Methodist Foundation, Target Busters Scholastic Clay Target Team & KIPP Knowledge is Power Foundation.
The Crane Bay is looking forward to the opportunity to team up with these, and other great local and national charities to host a variety of events ranging from galas to silent auctions to charity dinners, etc.

Conferences
The Crane Bay is the perfect location to host your conference – and take advantage of this great and unique space and a wonderful layout. Tired of the same old hotel ball rooms? Come see the Crane Bay! We have an exclusive catering agreement with The Savor Society and they will work with you to create exactly the catering package you need for your conference. We have plenty of on site parking for your attendees with valet parking as an option.
We have some relationships with rental companies for tables/chairs/pipe & drape etc in Indy but if you have contacts they are more than welcome to come on site and bring their equipment also.
Take advantage of over fifty 50″ flat screen plasma TV’s as well as a huge, state-of-the-art PA/stereo system which can be used any way you would like.
