Amanda Van Der Moere – Director of Sales

Amanda Van Der Moere has been with Crystal Signature Events for over 20 years. She is an enthusiastic leader essential to the development and high standards Crystal is known for. Amanda holds a degree in Business Management and has a background in Human Resources, where she assisted with the hiring and training of staff for the opening of Lucas Oil Stadium. She has planned over 600 events, contributed to the expansion of The Crane Bay Event Center, and the opening of The Heirloom at N.K. Hurst. Her vast industry knowledge makes her an invaluable asset to the team, known for her thoroughness and attention to detail.

Amanda won an Accent Award for being "rock solid" in 2018. She thrives on the excitement and challenges of events, excelling in problem-solving to ensure smooth operations. Passionate about elevating events to exceed client expectations, Amanda also enjoys leading and developing her team, who she considers family. When she isn’t working, Amanda spends time with her husband and three sons, traveling, attending concerts, gardening, cooking, and hosting for friends and family.

 

Hannah Beale – Sales & Events Manager

Holding a degree in Event Sales Management, Hannah’s passion for helping people and businesses in her community has been the driving force behind her career. Thanks to the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of her clients, Hannah understands the importance of ensuring that their events unfold seamlessly, while committing to delivering the exceptional service that Crystal Signature Events is known for.

In her role, Hannah takes pride in her creative and unique event planning ability. She enjoys not only helping clients achieve success in their current event, but also equipping them with ideas and strategies to benefit future events and fundraisers.

One of the most memorable events in Hannah's career was a fundraiser for the Peyton Manning Foundation. The impact it had on the community was a testament to the power of well-executed events. The highlight was a private concert by Brad Paisley, leaving an indelible mark on the guests and creating unforgettable moments for all involved. 

 

Amy Keemer – Sales & Events Manager

Holding a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue, Amy has been with Crystal Signature Events since 2016.

In her role, Amy is a dynamic force behind seamless coordination and exceptional experiences. She enjoys collaborating closely with her clients, capturing their visions and weaving them into reality. 

 

 

 

 

 

Sarah McTague – Sales & Events Manager

Sarah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management from Indiana University. She is passionate about helping clients' visions come to life and excels in creating personal bonds throughout the planning process. Her attention to detail and love for the behind-the-scenes work ensure events go seamlessly.

Sarah takes pride in focusing on the small details that matter most to clients, creating positive and lifelong memories for every guest. She strives to alleviate clients' stress, allowing them to fully enjoy their events and guests. One of her most memorable experiences was the 2024 Google NBA All-Star event, where the pre-planning process was extensive. The event transformed the space in an unprecedented way, showcasing the versatility of the venue and offering new perspectives on its use. Sarah's dedication to excellence and her ability to create unforgettable experiences make her an invaluable asset to The Crane Bay team.

 

Alexa Lutz – Operations Manager

Alexa is a dedicated professional with a profound passion for creating unforgettable experiences. With a bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management, complemented by a Business Minor from Indiana University this educational background, along with her ServeSafe Manager Certification, has equipped Alexa with the knowledge and expertise necessary for success in this industry.

What drew Alexa to working for Crane Bay was the excitement of the challenge it presented. She was inspired by the profound impact that well-executed events can have on people's lives and their ability to create lasting memories. Her keen eye for detail and her understanding of how small nuances can make a significant difference on a large scale have given her the ability to thrive in a sometimes challenging, yet impactful role.

It’s important to Alexa to go above and beyond, treating every event as if it were her own. She recognizes the importance of each event to her clients and conveys this to her staff, empowering them to exceed expectations. One of Alexa's most memorable events was the Hunsucker & Lejune Wedding Ceremony and Reception. It was during this event that she realized the profound impact she has on people's lives and their special moments. The heartfelt mention of her name in the father of the bride's speech on their wedding day resonated deeply, highlighting the unique role she plays in creating cherished memories.

I wanted to take a moment to extend a sincere thank you to you and your entire staff for the amazing job everybody did at our event. We have heard some glowing reviews from our guests concerning the food, the venue and the event itself. Everybody at Crane Bay was beyond kind and helpful. Anything that we asked (big or small) for was done without question or pause. It was truly a seamless experience. I would book an event again at Crane Bay in a heartbeat.

Phenomenal from Start to Finish


Amy Keemer was phenomenal to work with from start to finish! When we walked in to tour for our wedding, we knew this was the place. The atmosphere is so fun with the lighted columns. The food was delicious and our guests loved that we did a “non traditional” sit down meal. We opted for sliders and mac n’ cheese, our favorite foods! We were able to drop off our decor early in the week and pick up the Monday after our wedding so we didn’t feel rushed to pick up. The wait staff was wonderful and really took care of my husband and I and our parent tables! I highly recommend The Crane Bay for anyone looking to host an event!

Everything was simply perfect, PERFECT!! My parents couldn’t stop saying enough compliments about the venue and the venue staff. It was decorated absolutely beautifully and literally EVERY single person on staff at Crane Bay was absolutely amazing!!!
