Once an 1800s factory, The Crane Bay Event Center has been beautifully converted into a venue that merges historic character with modern elegance. Its open, industrial-chic space offered the perfect atmosphere for Claudia and Adam’s big day, combining vintage charm with sleek, modern aesthetics.

A Memorable Cocktail Reception

The festivities kicked off with a lively cocktail hour, where over 200 guests enjoyed a selection of exquisite hors d'oeuvres. Delicacies like pork taquitos with honey lime chipotle crema, hot honey chicken waffles with maple bacon jam, and caprese skewers set the tone for the evening. A standout of the hour was the Caipirinha, a Brazilian specialty cocktail served with mini Brazilian flags, paying homage to Claudia’s heritage. Crystal Signature Events expertly handled all catering, providing a dining experience that was as memorable as it was delicious.

Elegant Decor and Tablescapes

Guests were later welcomed into a dinner reception area that radiated sophistication and warmth. Guest tables were draped in Ivory Satin linens, while the head table boasted Oyster Marble linens, all paired with gold Chiavari chairs. Detail + Design created stunning floral centerpieces in shades of white, ivory, and blush pink, with votives and candelabras adding to the elegant ambiance. A show-stopping circular floral installation suspended over the head table added a striking touch of grandeur to the room.

A Feast to Remember

The gourmet plated dinner began with a refreshing Mixed Greens Salad topped with strawberries, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, goat cheese, and a poppyseed vinaigrette. For the main course, guests were treated to Maple Bourbon Frenched Chicken with apple mostarda, sweet potato mash, and garlic roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon. Special attention was given to the younger attendees, who enjoyed chicken fingers and fries, alongside a mocktail of sparkling grape juice.

Desserts and Dancing

Dessert featured a red velvet and carrot cake, as well as Brazilian chocolate truffles, paying another tribute to Claudia’s roots. The lively band, Tastes Like Chicken, kept the energy high throughout the evening. The custom ‘S’ initial GOBO on the dance floor, representing the couple’s shared last name, added a unique personal touch to the celebration.
